Rise of the Social Surfer

Ok, so maybe this is stating the obvious but you may have noticed that social networking is becoming pretty popular these days, and my guess would be that you yourself, the very same person reading this is or has been involved in some form of social media. You wouldnt be human if you hadnt these days, right?

Well, during your social sessions you may have had invites to a game of some form and you may have even played one of them. This new relatively new form of gaming is being played by millions daily and even by people who are adamant that they are not gamers. The games stem from Solitaire and Mahjong to full scale Sims type games such as (my personal favourite) Restaurant City.

These games are quick to get into but can become quite complex as they grow with the user base they have created. The games are perfect for wasting ten minutes you’ve got to spare, but they are equally as good at swallowing hours of time that you cannot spare.

We will be reviewing some choice titles and letting you know whether its worth investing any of your precious time on them. In the meantime, embrace this new genre of gaming, and better still there usually free to at least try. Leave a comment of any recommendations you may have.
