Words to live by

A couple days ago I was looking through my old myspace account since I’m never on it anymore and I stumbled upon a friend’s profile. On the profile was a quote, “Never take life too seriously; no one makes it out alive anyway”. And for whatever reason, this quote had a huge impact on my outlook on life. It has nothing to do with grimness or “emo” as my friend are currently labeling it, but just simple what the quote says: that people take life too seriously. I am one of those people and for the most part I don’t particularly like that quality about myself. Sometimes, yes, we need to take life seriously, but most of the time can’t we just have fun? I have become a big advocate of this simple outlook in just one night. I have dedicated to have more fun in life or at least have more fun doing the things that I am currently doing. I have proposed to myself to lighten up and to step back. I challenge myself to laugh more, smile more, and have more fun. Because the quote is right – no one makes it out alive, so why not have fun while you’re here?

So the point of this post is to divulge that information to the public – maybe I’ll update my progress? So far its going quite well But I also created a little background for my computer, nothing very intricate or special, in photoshop to sort of epitomize my new challenge.

And if anyone is wondering, I don’t believe the quote had an attribution. I did google it and couldn’t find anything
